United Against Hate Rally

As we all recover from the election results last week, our HRC Mississippi team would like to extend an invitation to a special event in Jackson next month. Mississippi’s own Tena Clark will be joining us for a rally and concert on Sunday, December 11th to call for the complete repeal of H.B. 1523.

An award-winning singer, writer, producer and native of Waynesboro, MS, Tena Clark has expressed how deeply troubled she is by the audacity of the governor and state legislature to pass such a heinous bill. After the passage of H.B. 1523, Tena was inspired to write her new song, “My, My Mississippi.”

Join us at the Capitol on the South grounds where we will gather and march to the Governor's Mansion for a rally and concert. For questions regarding the event or for volunteer opportunities contact Harry Hawkins at Harry.Hawkins@HRC.org
