Mississippi in Action is hosting the 4th Annual Mississippi AIDS Advocacy Conference, January 29-31, 2014. We will have speakers on topics such as harm reduction, HIV criminalization, Affordable Care Act and Advocacy. Registration forms are ready!!! Mississippi in Action is only covering 50 scholarships this year for people living with HIV. The process is different from previous years, because we will be building advocacy in Mississippi for HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Justice, Harm Reduction and Housing. There is an essay portion of the registration form. The MAAC scholarship committee will review the essays and contact those that are awarded the scholarship. The conference is open is open to those that want to attend, just not covered by scholarship. Registration forms and essays are due by December 15, 2013. Those awarded scholarships will to contacted by January 10, 2014. Attached you will find the registration form. Please complete the document and return it to via email or fax. We are looking to make this year's conference a success and we need your participation to make that happen.
